I · JABOUR
Where the name comes from
Bryan Bolzan was born in Denver, Colorado, and raised in Jabour, a neighbourhood of Goiabeiras in Vitória, in the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo. Much of his childhood was spent by the sea at Itapuã, the beach across the bay that later gave its name to his signature ring.
He grew up wanting to be a footballer. When that dream ended, he waited tables in England and taught himself to design in CAD.
II · THE TRADE
Learning to draw a ring
At 21 he began designing rings in CAD, building them in Rhino 3D and working with London’s workshops. CAD is still the whole of his craft: he designs every Bairro Jabour ring himself, and he directs the workshops that make it. He does not work the bench or set the stones.
III · BAIRRO JABOUR
A house with a neighbourhood’s name
In 2025 he founded Bairro Jabour with Sabrina Braz, as Jabour Jewellery Limited, and named it after the place that raised him. Bairro Jabour is an official sponsor of Jabour E.C. in Brazil.
He meets clients by appointment, in a private room in central London or by video, in English, Portuguese or Spanish. The consultation, the design, a photoreal render with room for changes and an itemised quote cost nothing.
