    Itapuã

    An Indigenous Brazilian name, and a beach in Vila Velha, Espírito Santo, just across the bay from Vitória and Jabour. Much of Bryan Bolzan’s childhood was spent there, by that sea.

    A stone named for the sea

    Aquamarine takes its name from the Latin for seawater. Here it is an oval, followed on either side by two sweeping rows of diamonds.
